Yohana Cadena (She/Her)

YCC Support & Aftercare Assistant

Serving Mountain Shadows since 2026

Yohana Cadena was born in Colombia and is the youngest of three sisters. Family is very important to her, including her son, Santiago, who lives in Colombia and is completing his degree in Systems Engineering, and her husband, who has been an important part of her journey.

Yohana studied Health Administration and specialized in medical billing, working in healthcare for more than ten years before moving to the United States in 2021. After discovering a love for working with young children, she completed early childhood training through the PASO program of the Colorado Statewide Parent Coalition and became certified to care for children from birth to age six.

Yohana later discovered Montessori education and fell in love with its philosophy of supporting children’s independence, confidence, and development. She is excited to continue learning, growing professionally, and making a positive difference in the lives of children and families.

In her free time, Yohana enjoys cooking, traveling, spending time with family, and listening to music, especially salsa and vallenato.
