“This fall was our first semester at Mountain Shadows, and we feel lucky every single day that we found such a great, loving, beautiful, stimulating, and open-hearted school. Eli and Dahlia are excited to go to school each morning! Some highlights have been: the surprisingly tender and insightful peace day poems, watching the Elementary aged children play tag at pick up each day, Eli presenting his work to us on so many varied topics - we learned a lot about sharks, Neanderthals, magicians, and so much more! Attending the workday in Koral's class, where Dahlia was so excited to show me each and every one of her workstations and the beautiful fall festival. I particularly enjoyed conferences and getting to see how much Joni and Koral care about every one of our children. We are so honored to be able to sink our roots in even deeper and keep growing with the MSMS community - for the rest of this school year and in the years to come.”

“It has been such a great year for our family at Mountain Shadows! Coming from overseas, we encountered a lot of changes. Within the first few days, we could see our children already feeling a sense of belonging, joy in their discoveries, freedom in the play, and care of the environment they found outdoors on the beautiful campus. “We have had a very positive experience with MSMS over the last several years. The staff has always been accommodating and the teachers have been excellent. Recently (Fall'22) as COVID restrictions have died down the teachers and staff have increased community engagement with numerous social and educational gatherings. We have especially appreciated the new after school enrichment offerings (Adventures in STEM with LEGOs!) and the recent Fall Festival that the school hosted.”

“Very picturesque school surrounded by farms with a lot of outside space and multiple playgrounds. The Montessori materials available inside the classrooms are extensive and the teachers do a remarkable job deciding and dedicating a beautiful space to different areas of learning. They change things out depending on the season or topic of group interest. The teachers past and present are all so amazing and we have met so many new friends (fellow parents and children).”
