Perla Lopez is a bilingual Montessori educator who is passionate about supporting children’s independence, curiosity, and development. She has over two years of experience working in a Montessori Primary classroom with children ages 3–6. She earned her AMI Montessori Assistant Certificate through Stoppani Montessori Training Center in Tijuana, Mexico, and is currently pursuing her AMI Primary Guide Training, with an expected completion in August 2027.

Perla’s Montessori journey began through her work with young children, where she discovered the importance of observing, listening, and respecting each child’s individual needs and abilities. She believes that children learn best when they feel respected, supported, and free to explore within a carefully prepared environment. She is especially passionate about helping children develop independence, confidence, and a love of learning.

Perla is excited to continue growing as a Montessori educator and to be part of the Mountain Shadows International Montessori School community. She values the school’s commitment to honoring each child, fostering independence, and creating a respectful and nurturing learning environment.

Outside the classroom, Perla enjoys reading, exercising, and listening to music. She loves learning new things and believes in continuing to grow both personally and professionally.
