Mike grew up in New England and moved to Colorado to enroll in CU for a MS in Geology. He has been a beekeeper in Colorado for about 9 years. After a career in software sales, Mike wanted to do something to help the planet, so he started Free Range Beehives, a corporate beekeeping service. Mike works with companies that want to do something good for the environment and their employees, and places beehives on the corporate properties.

The beehives represent a platform for Free Range Beehives to deliver educational content to their. clients, teaching about the importance of bees and all pollinators, and helping people understand what they can do to help. Mike is married with 3 children and lives in Longmont, CO.
