Kimberly Rojas-Norris

Office Administrator & Childcare Director

Kimberly brings more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education, including classroom teaching, curriculum leadership, school operations, and childcare center administration, with more than a decade of experience in director-level leadership. She holds a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education Leadership, a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, and Colorado’s Large Center Director Qualification. Throughout her career, she has successfully led childcare facilities across Colorado, overseeing licensing compliance, health and safety practices, staff development, enrollment, and daily operations.

Kimberly began her career in early childhood education as a classroom assistant in a Montessori environment, an experience that helped shape her appreciation for fostering independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. Returning to a Montessori community has long been a personal aspiration, and she is delighted to bring her experience and expertise to Mountain Shadows while continuing to learn alongside our Montessori Guides.

At Mountain Shadows, Kimberly oversees childcare licensing, health, and regulatory compliance for our early childhood programs, helping ensure that our learning environments maintain high standards of health, safety, and care. She works collaboratively with our school nurse and early childhood team to support the health and well-being of our youngest students and their families. She also serves as an Office Administrator, contributing to daily school operations and supporting the broader needs of our school community.

Outside of education, Kimberly enjoys photography, reading, crafting, building LEGOs, and spending time with her family and her fiancé, Mike. Their love story is a special one, as they first met online 22 years ago and dated briefly before life took them in different directions. After 18 years apart, they reconnected in Colorado, and Mike later proposed at the historic Alamo in San Antonio, Texas—a beautiful reminder that life's most meaningful chapters sometimes come with second chances.

Kimberly looks forward to building lasting relationships with Mountain Shadows families, supporting our dedicated educators, and contributing to the health, safety, and well-being of our school community.
