Alejandra Castano Valencia is a Colombian audiovisual professional and obtained her bachelor’s degree in Social Communication with emphasis in Audiovisual Production from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. For more than five years, she created multimedia and documentary projects in collaboration with communities, cultural organizations, and educational institutions, using visual media as a tool to inform, inspire, and connect people.
After moving to Longmont, Colorado in 2022, Alejandra expanded her work into early childhood education. She has three years of experience in home-based childcare, supporting infants and toddlers through Montessori-inspired activities that encourage creativity, language development, independence, and confidence. She is passionate about fostering environments where children feel encouraged to explore, learn, and grow with confidence and curiosity, especially through outdoor and nature-based experiences.
In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, staying active, and getting a breath of fresh air. She also loves slow mornings at home with a cup of tea, watching movies and documentaries
