Catherine comes to Mountain Shadows after decades in international business, where she built teams and programs across global organizations. What drew her most in that work was never the systems themselves, it was designing environments for people to succeed. That thread has led her here, to a community where the development of the whole human being is taken seriously from the very beginning.

Catherine’s relationship with Montessori began as a parent and deepened into a calling. Through reading, exploration, and a growing conviction that the earliest years are where everything begins, she arrived at this path deliberately. This fall she will begin her AMI 3–6 Diploma at the Maria Montessori Institute in London with the intention of returning to Colorado and to this community.

Outside of work, Catherine is happiest on a trail, in a gallery, or somewhere entirely new. She is an avid traveler, a lover of live music, and a devoted friend to any animal that will have her. She feels fortunate to be spending this chapter at Mountain Shadows, learning alongside guides who have made this their life’s work.
