Sanja Aleksovska is a dedicated early childhood educator with a profound passion for nurturing young minds and fostering their holistic development. Holding a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature with a major in ESL, she is also a certified Talk Yoga teacher, blending yoga practices with speech therapy to create innovative learning experiences. She firmly believes that every child is uniquely special and deserves a stimulating educational environment that promotes growth in mental, emotional, and social domains. For Sanja, teaching ranks among the most rewarding professions; she is committed to cultivating nurturing spaces where students thrive, complemented by fun, engaging activities designed to challenge and inspire.
With seven years of hands-on experience as an early childhood teacher, Sanja has honed her skills at prestigious institutions in Maryland. She spent four rewarding years at The Goddard School, where she crafted dynamic curricula and built strong parent partnerships, followed by three years at the NASA Goddard Child Development Center, supporting the children of scientists and engineers in a collaborative, inquiry-based environment. This diverse background has equipped her with a versatile approach to early education, emphasizing creativity, inclusivity, and real-world exploration.
Sanja brings a global perspective to her work, fueled by her love for learning new languages and immersing herself in diverse cultures. Sanja speaks English, Macedonian, Serbian, and Spanish, she has recently embarked on learning Japanese, enriching her ability to connect with students from varied backgrounds.
In her free time, Sanja enjoys traveling to explore new horizons, watching thought-provoking documentaries, and taking long walks—activities that recharge her spirit and deepen her appreciation for the world.
