Originally from Jakarta, Indonesia, Olivia moved to the United States in 2012 and has called Colorado home ever since. She completed a 4-year college program in Radio and TV Journalism in Jakarta, developing strong communication skills and a creative, thoughtful approach to working with others.
Olivia began her journey in early childhood education in 2014 and has been passionately dedicated to the Montessori philosophy ever since. In 2019, she earned her Montessori certification for Birth to 3-year-olds from the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies (MECR) in Boulder. She also completed early childhood coursework at Front Range Community College, becoming Group Leader qualified in the state of Colorado.
As an Infant/Toddler Guide, Olivia is committed to creating a warm, nurturing environment where young children can explore, grow, and develop at their own pace. She believes deeply in fostering independence, curiosity, and self-expression, and ensures that every child feels seen, heard, and valued.
In addition to her work in early childhood education, Olivia also works as a caregiver for seniors, primarily those living with dementia. This ongoing work has enriched her understanding of compassionate, individualized care across all stages of life.
Outside the classroom, Olivia enjoys spending time outdoors with her Shihpoo, Penny. She loves hiking, kayaking, camping, playing guitar and ukulele, cooking Indonesian food, and sharing meaningful moments with her friends and family.
