Laura grew up in Lawrence, Kansas and moved to Colorado early this year to be near the mountains and family.

Laura went to the University of Kansas and graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in elementary education. She has worked in education for about 8 years in a few different settings. Her experiences include teaching at a gymnastics academy, being a nanny for multiple families, substitute teaching for grades K-6, and working at an arts-based preschool/kindergarten.

Laura is excited to be working in a Montessori for the first time and is loving every minute of it. She believes that all children learn in different ways and Montessori gives them the freedom to learn in their own unique styles.

Laura enjoys time outdoors hiking with family and friends and traveling whenever possible. She likes quick weekend trips to explore her new state of Colorado. She also enjoys spending her free time watching new and old movies and reading a good book.
