Jenni Dunlap (She/Her)

Director of Operations

Serving Mountain Shadows since 2021

Jenni's journey traces back to her roots in Texas, although her upbringing as a military brat gifted her with a childhood filled with adventures across the globe. Born in Hawaii, she spent six formative years in the Philippines, along with stints in California, Nevada, Washington State, and Texas. Fate brought her to her husband, who served in the Air Force, leading to relocations to Colorado, Virginia, Kuwait, and eventually back to Colorado, where her husband retired from the military.

She earned her Bachelor's in Business Management from West Texas A&M before immersing herself in the world of hospitality as a Catering Sales Manager. However, her passion for education eventually led her to make a rewarding transition to the field.

Outside of work, Jenni finds joy in the company of her loved ones, including her husband, her stepson Brayden, her lively daughter Lily, and their two West Highland terriers. She cherishes precious moments spent with her family, often cheering on her stepson and daughter during their bustling soccer games on weekends.

“Let the children be free; encourage them; let them run outside when it is raining; let them remove their shoes when they find a puddle of water; and, when the grass of the meadows is damp with dew, let them run on it and trample it with their bare feet; let them rest peacefully when a tree invites them to sleep beneath its shade; let them shout and laugh when the sun wakes them in the morning as it wakes every living creature that divides its day between walking and sleeping.” -Dr. Maria Montessori
