International Children’s Day

Dear MSIMS Community,

Mark your calendars as we gear up for our final whole school community event of the Fall Quarter! Join us on November 17th at 2:15 PM in our MPR for a jubilant celebration of International Children’s Day (also known as World Children’s Day)!

You Will Enjoy:

  • Enthralling cultural performances. (With your help!)

  • A delightful community potluck.

  • Insightful and immersive presentations from our talented Elementary students.

  • A time to come together in gratitude for our school and its global approach to education.

  • Appreciation for each child for who they will become and their contributions to the world.

  • Art displays created by your child, regardless of their level.

The Details:

  • Children and adults are invited to dress up in attire representing your heritage or a country of your choice! Creativity is highly encouraged and welcomed! (Elementary students will receive specific information from Joni and Madhavi.)

  • Prepare and bring a tantalizing potluck dish from your heritage or your favorite international cuisine… YUM!  Don't forget to provide a label including ALL ingredients. (MSIMS will provide cutlery, plates, and napkins.) Feel free to drop off your potluck dishes anytime on November 17th. We have electrical outlets available for crockpot/slow cooker dishes.

  • Ready to shine? Sign up to showcase your talent or encourage anyone in your Boulder or NorCo members to participate!

  • Get inspired by engaging presentations and indulge in a delectable array of global flavors, all while cherishing this precious time together.

  • Visit the captivating living museum in Elementary, highlighting fascinating research presentations from around the world. Don't miss the delightful art displays created by your children across different levels!

Calling all talent! We warmly invite parents and family friends to contribute to this special day. Do you have a unique cultural or special talent, or do you know someone who does? Whether it's music, dance, storytelling, poetry reading, or any other talent, sign up by November 10th using the link below. Stay tuned for the week's schedule of events! Our Primary and Elementary students will wrap-up the program with delightful performances.

After the presentations, let's all relish the potluck feast together and explore the Elementary living museum, showcasing an array of international research presentations!

Remember, ALL FAMILIES are required to RSVP. Let's make this celebration unforgettable!
