Mountain Shadows Campus and Classroom Visit for Your Child

After you have completed your Parents’ Campus and Classroom Visit and have become familiar with our Mountain Shadows campus, you are invited to complete an application on your child(ren). Once your application is submitted, you are welcome to schedule a campus visit for students.

Your child’s visit gives us an opportunity to help you determine if Montessori would be a good fit for your child.

  • If your child is entering the Primary Program and is of age 3 or 4, your child will meet our Executive Director and/or Director of School Advancement, then take a mini-tour of the campus and playground.

  • If your child is entering the Primary Program at age 5 or is entering our Elementary I or Elementary II Program, he or she will meet not only our Executive Director and/or Director of School Advancement, but also meet with our teachers for a personal tour of the classroom.
    • This friendly meeting between the student and the teachers allows our staff to assess the child’s development stage and receptivity to the Montessori environment and materials.
    • Upon completion of this meeting, the teachers and/or the Director of School Advancement will take you and/or your child out for a mini-tour of the campus and playground.

These tours and meetings are a wonderful opportunity for your child to see their potential new school and our Montessori environment.

“The teachers and staff at Mountain Shadows are excellent. The difference is in the teachers’ training and how they work with the kids. My son knows how to do so much for himself… and he really enjoys learning!”
