Parent Guild

Every parent and faculty member of Mountain Shadows is a member of the Mountain Shadows Parent Guild.  The Parent Guild has two roles:

  • Community Building - Parent Guild sponsors presentations and social activities throughout the school year to give parents a chance to meet each other and interact with the staff in a relaxed setting.
  • Fund Raising - The Parent Guild raises funds each year to enhance the school environment and to contribute to the financial aid fund.  A variety of fundraising opportunities are made available throughout the year, and a funds allocation meeting, that dispenses the funds available, is held on an annual basis.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Library - Assistance is needed to inspect, update and repair books in the school's library collections.

  • Refreshments - Help provide refreshments for various Parent Guild functions and school events.

  • Playground and Grounds--Helps with playground and grounds special projects and maintenance.

  • Fundraising - Enable the Parent Guild to provide funds for special expenditures within the school by supporting the fundraising program.
