Parents
Parents are encouraged to actively
participate in the education of their children. Mountain
Shadows offers programs throughout the school year to facilitate
this participation, while providing parents with the opportunity
to view the academic progress of their student.
Information on these events are listed in the school calendar
and newsletter.
In addition, the Mountain Shadows Parent
Guild plays an important role in unifying the school community.
Periodically the organization hosts community activities in
order to unify families of the school. The group also
participates in fundraising activities which contribute towards
the purchase of "extra" items beyond those typically provided in
a Montessori classroom. |
