With the support of an AMI trained teacher, who understands the toddler’s need “to do it myself”, the toddlers learn to control their own bodies and practice daily activities of dressing, eating and toileting independently. The carefully prepared environment offers rich opportunities for physical, sensorial, intellectual and social learning.
The toddlers embrace activities that develop motor skills: running, carrying, climbing, swinging, grasping knobs, shoveling, raking and handling paintbrushes.
