Mountain Shadows is participating in the Michael Olaf and the Montessori Services school credit promotion. Both organizations offer parents quality child sized materials for purchase. Use the school’s ID # when ordering and Mountain Shadows will receive a percentage of your purchase as a credit toward the purchase of classroom materials.
With the support of an AMI trained teacher, who understands the toddler’s need “to do it myself”, the toddlers learn to control their own bodies and practice daily activities of dressing, eating and toileting independently. The carefully prepared environment offers rich opportunities for physical, sensorial, intellectual and social learning.
The toddlers embrace activities that develop motor skills: running, carrying, climbing, swinging, grasping knobs, shoveling, raking and handling paintbrushes.
