The Enrollment Process at Mountain Shadows

Enrollment season for students starting in the fall is January of the same year. Before enrollment can occur, parents must have:

1. completed the Admissions process and
2. received an Invitation for Enrollment.

In order to secure a space for your child(ren) in a classroom during Enrollment season, you must return:

1. completed enrollment contract(s) and
2. the first of two partial-payments towards a security deposit, which is deducted from your total tuition.

Families enrolling their children after June 1 will pay the enrollment deposit in full at the time of enrollment.

Mid-Year Enrollment at Mountain Shadows
Mountain Shadows offers mid-year enrollments once the school year has begun, as long as space is available.

• If you are enrolling after January 31 of the current school year, you will follow the same enrollment procedures as described above. Additionally, however, you must also re-enroll your child for the following school year at the same time.
  
  
• The reason for this policy is simple. Mountain Shadows Montessori School believes that in order for families to receive the full benefit of a Mountain Shadows Montessori education, a child must have at least one full school year to grow into the Montessori experience. We also know that, as a family, you are making not only a commitment to your child(ren)’s education, but also an investment in their future. Like all good investments, allowing adequate time to realize a return tends to work in your favor. This re-enrollment also secures your space for the following year so your child’s progress is uninterrupted.
