Before- and After-School Childcare

The Before- and After-School program at Mountain Shadows offers enrolled families the opportunity to drop their children off early or to pick up their children later than the regular program times.

Activities available to children in the Before- and After-School Childcare include:

• playground time
• recreational activities
• games
• specially designed cooking or art projects.

Sometimes children will choose to work with the Montessori materials they find particularly fun or fascinating.

You may set up a regular schedule or may set up a “Drop-In” account which is designed for unexpected delays. A Drop-In account is very helpful for those unexpected delays at work, other schedule changes, or emergencies, so we encourage all parents to consider establishing one.

This program is only available for families enrolled at Mountain Shadows. If your family needs this additional support, please ask the Director of School Advancement for more information during your Parent Campus and Classroom Visit.
