This page is offered as a resource to our MSMS students and their parents to help support the continued learning and growth of the children during this time away from school.

Creating and keeping some sort of schedule will help support the children and you as you strategize how to organize your day.  Be sure to see it as a framework and stay flexible! Here is one idea:

Fun Montessori Activities at Home

Montessori Inspired Activities for Toddlers

Science Experiments for Kids

Montessori At Home – Trillium Montessori great website and facebook option

Home Activities for Toddlers and Primary Students

Maren Schmidt – Planning for Summer Fun (in March) great website with many other resources as well

Yoga Activities (Bumblebee Breaths)

Children’s Books to Help Overcome Anxiety, Worry, and Fear

Journaling is a great activity and can be done with just pictures, pictures and single words, or writing with our without illustration.  (This activity is for the purpose of self -expression and is less about spelling and punctuation.)

Limiting screen time to outside “regular school hours” is a way to support children and limit your discussions about the use of screens.

Greater Good – a great resource for many things

Additional Resources Provided By Pika Stearns’ AuPair Organization (we have not checked all these out, but several of them look good)
